Service Description
As a cultural advisor and educator, I perform various education services to various businesses and organisations to help them achieve their goals of improving cultural awareness, appropriation and safety in the workplace. Sessions covers the following; Life before European settlement. Associated change post European settlement. The truth telling of recent history of Indigenous people. Discussing the importance of connection between country and people. How to identify traditional tools, Artefacts, sites and their importance. Stories, language and arts. How to engage with Indigenous communities and build relationships. Current issues facing Indigenous communities. These services have been employed in multiple settings including local schools, NSW Health, and TafeNSW. Maximum group size of 30. Minimum group size of 10. Prices vary as these services may be provided as a one-off or continuous sessions, either online or face-to-face at your organisations workplace or outdoors (if on Gumbaynggirr country - within the Mid North Coast of NSW).
